PRESS RELEASE

GLOBAL EVENT STRATEGIES OPENS CHINA OFFICES

In response to growing activity and increased opportunities for event/exhibition organizers and meeting planners, Global Event Strategies has opened 2 representative offices in China - -1 in Beijing and the other in Hong Kong S.A.R.  Global Event Strategies is a consulting firm that works with organizations in growing their businesses globally.

" The potential for business in China is increasing at a very rapid pace", said Steve Sind, President & CEO,  Global Event Strategies. Sind started organizing events in China 26 years ago. According to official Chinese sources, over the past few years, the Chinese exhibition market has been growing at 20% average annual growth rate.  This is being driven by the rapid industrialization/modernization of China, which is currently the world's fastest growing economy and is the third largest trading nation after the US and Germany.

"This environment has created tremendous opportunities for our industry, and now is the right time to identify and take advantage of these opportunities thus creating new revenue and profit streams for many organizations", said Sind.  Adding to this growth are the 2008 Olympics in Beijing and the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai.

Sind commented that in servicing the needs of current and future clients, the offices will be able to identify and follow up on opportunities more quickly; identify, contact and follow up with the most appropriate partners; keep in close contact with government and local organizations; and gather and analyze market data on a very timely and regular basis.

Global Event Strategies recently licensed an event for a US based client to a Hong Kong organizer to be run in Shanghai, and another to be held in London. The firm is currently working on similar business opportunities for other clients in China, elsewhere in Asia and in Europe and Latin America. As part of developing and implementing global strategies for its clients, Global Event Strategies activities include identifying, arranging and negotiating licenses, joint ventures, management contracts, and event launches. The company also develops, directs and manages global sales networks for shows (and trade magazines). "Having these local offices will also enable us, on behalf of our clients, to identify and work more closely with appropriate partners for bringing exhibitors and visitors into shows in the US and other countries", Sind added.
